Main Stalls
Main Stalls are for horses aged two and older that are active in training and racing. These horses cannot breed while they are in the Main Stable. Eligible horses aged four and older can be retired to stud or broodmare status, which moves them into the Breeding Stable. That move cannot be reversed.
When purchasing a horse, make sure it is in the Main Stable if you want to train or race it.
Breeding Stalls
Breeding Stalls are for yearlings and breeding horses, including stallions and broodmares. Yearlings can move into the Main Stable when they become two-year-olds. Older breeding horses must be in these stalls to breed and cannot train or race while located there.
