1998
Shady Hill Farm
Jacklyn created a small, manually updated virtual horse game for fellow horse lovers.
2002
Equination opened
The game welcomed its first public players and began building its own racing history.
2013
A lasting foundation
Equination became an Ontario corporation under 1892527 Ontario Inc.

The Founder Behind the Game
Built from horse experience and a love of creating.
Equination was created by Jacklyn Wyatt, known to many longtime players as Jackie. She has spent much of her life working with and around horses, from Thoroughbred racing to the hunter and jumper world and hands-on horse ownership.
Jacklyn spent more than a decade working with Thoroughbred racehorses as a jockey and exercise rider. That firsthand experience continues to shape how racing, horse management, and the small details of stable life feel throughout Equination.
Her work in technology and security brings another side to the game: a focus on thoughtful design, responsible change, and building something the community can rely on for the long term.
